A Co Offaly Civil engineering / Groundworks contractor, working across the Leinster area on a number of €Multi-Million Housing and Road projects, carrying out all civil works have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team, within their head office in Co Offaly.

Working within a fast-paced commercial division, on multiple projects ranging from €500,000 – €10Million across the Leinster region, you will be joining an established civil engineering contractor to work on large scale private & public works projects.

The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering / groundworks background including:

Requirements:

• A degree in a Construction or Quantity Surveying qualification.
• 4-5 years Quantity Surveying experience with a civils contractor
• Good IT skills with competency using Cubit, Cost-ex or equivalent, Microsoft Word and Excel

Key Skills for this role include:

• Quantity Surveying
• BOQ
• Tendering.
• Cost Analysis & Reporting.
• Valuations.
• Progress Claims.
• An understanding and experience of construction procedures, methodology & specifications is essential.

What you’ll get in return:

The base salary for the position will be €55,000 – €65,000 + vehicle, depending on experience, with great opportunities to grow into a senior role within the company.
