Construction Manager Skills:
Strong understanding of design and mechanical construction procedures.
Demonstrated skill in overseeing personnel and projects.
Experience in a trade field or tertiary education.
Established expertise in mechanical installation systems for pharmaceutical or medical devices.
Proficiency in reviewing Clean System Drawings, P&IDs, and project scopes.
Track record of effectively coordinating and leading large-scale projects in a comparable capacity.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Mechanical Construction Manager
Proficient in computer usage, including familiarity with MS Office, Project, or equivalent scheduling software.
As a Construction Manager:
Supervise and manage day-to-day mechanical construction activities on the project.
Develop, organise, and execute cost-effective plans for mechanical construction to ensure timely completion within budget.
Implement the scope of work for construction, fabrication, and pre-commissioning in accordance with the approved project schedule.
Report project details, including progress, risks, and opportunities, to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
Document all changes to specifications, work scope, and drawings.
Monitor construction and schedule performance closely.
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards, following relevant policies and procedures.
Manage site design and mechanical construction processes.
Plan resources, including labour, materials, and subcontractors.
Lead and motivate the team to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Possess strong communication skills to engage effectively with all stakeholders.
Lead daily meetings for the mechanical scope.
Coordinate mechanical system walkdown activities.
