apply nowWorking on a €Multi-Million infrastructure project and a number of other high profile heavy civil projects in the line-up over the coming months, one of Irelands top 40 heavy civil main contractors have an opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join their team on-site in Cork.

Having industry-leading Health & Safety systems which are NSAI Certified and a safety-first culture, their objective is simple, to keep everyone safe, every day. Providing an absolute focus on critical risk management, operating responsibly and ethically, fostering a culture of personal responsibility and accountability.
With this in mind, this main contractor have an opportunity for a like-minded, dedicated and responsible Health and Safety professional to join their team. The successful candidate will have a Level 8 or above Qualification in Health and Safety, with 6+ years in a Senior Health and Safety Officer role, preferably with a medium to large civil engineering contractor, being familiar with safety statements, safety plans, and method statements, site auditing, toolbox talks, maintaining safety plans, training staff, etc.
A full on, faced paced role, on an exciting large-scale project in Cork, with a great package on offer for the successful candidate.
Salary expectations:
The base salary for the position will be €60,000 – €65,000 + Package, (Vehicle + Fuel card and a great pension), which will be fully negotiable depending on relevant experience.
