The Developer:

One of Ireland's leading and most prestigious Residential Developer's with years of experience building 1000's of high end quality homes and residential apartments annually. Due to an expanding portfolio our client currently have a need for a strong Intermediate Quantity Surveyor on a €100m residential development in Wicklow consisting of 400+ units which includes 300+ houses and 100 apartments. 

Location wise, this would be suited to anyone in South Dublin, Wicklow or Wexford area and work is expected to last 2+ years with another large project also beginning in the area.

Quantity Surveyor Skills:

The Quantity Surveyor role would suit a delivery orientated individual with 4+ years post – graduate experience with a Developer or Main Contractor. Experience in Housing, RC Frame / apartments / commercial projects is desirable.

Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Criteria:

• A 3rd level qualification in a related field
• 4+ yrs Post-Graduate experience with a Developer or Contractor.
• Experience of residential building / commercial projects
• An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
• Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants along with normal QS duties
• Reporting on budgets and variations
• To have strong analytical skills and ability to present findings
• Undertaking monthly internal valuations and production of monthly cost reports
• Reporting on budgets and variations
• Maintaining subcontractor and supplier contractual details

The Package:

An excellent package will be put in place for the successful candidate, with a basic salary of €65,000 – €70,000 (negotiable) + 10% bonus, vehicle/allowance, pension, healthcare, gym membership.
