You are a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Mechanical Engineer looking for your next opportunity to join an innovative mechanical contractor. In this role, you will report directly to the Project Manager and work closely with the Construction Manager.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 6-10 site-based project engineers, ensuring the successful execution of mechanical projects in terms of planning, safety, construction, quality, and commercial issues, from Pharma, Oil & Gas through to Data Centres.

Lead Mechanical Engineer Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in a senior-level role within mechanical engineering and project management.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical contracting principles and practices.
Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer:
Coordinating on-site activities between Mechanical and other Disciplines.
Addressing engineering queries in the field.
Supervising area engineers responsible for specific construction zones.
Prioritizing off-site pipe and pipe design fabrication to align with the construction schedule.
Collaborating with the construction manager to monitor the construction timeline.
Providing weekly progress reports to the client and project manager, utilizing templates.
Compiling weekly variation reports by gathering information from area engineers for the Cost engineer.
Familiarizing oneself with the scope of the contract to monitor potential variation work on-site.
Ensuring timely ordering of supplied equipment as needed.
Facilitating on-site coordination between the Consultant and Contractor.
Coordinating project activities in collaboration with the offsite fabrication team.
Participating in weekly progress meetings.
Conducting safety audits and monitoring safety performance on-site.
Collaborating with the QA lead to ensure the timely handover of piping systems to the client.
Demonstrating essential knowledge of piping isometrics and P&IDs.
Minimum requirement of 7 years of experience in Mechanical field.
The package is dependent on experience and the successful candidate will be rewarded favourably with a salary of at least €80000 is to be expected, plus package.
