Your new company specialise in design and build installations, offering comprehensive management packages encompassing project management, design, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Mechanical Services.

You are a technically proficient individual with a proven track record in overseeing mechanical engineering installation projects ranging from €100k to €3M+ across commercial, retail, and public sector buildings.
This is a full-time position based in Dublin, offering a competitive salary plus benefits including a vehicle, laptop, mobile phone, and expenses coverage.

Mechanical Contracts Manager Skills:

  • Preferred industry qualifications; background in engineering/installation advantageous.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the HVAC/mechanical services sector.
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
  • Capable of leading and working within a team or independently.
  • Strong organisational abilities and adept at managing workload.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.

As a Mechanical Contracts Manager:

  • Coordinate all aspects of projects from procurement to completion while staying informed about on-site progress.
  • Review and analyse project drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Maintain regular communication with on-site teams and participate in project meetings.
  • Manage documentation, including record documents and approved submittals.
  • Draft and submit requests for information and maintain an RFI log.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment on-site.
  • Supervise site personnel and foster positive client relationships.
  • Collaborate with other contract managers to oversee workforce allocation.

The Package:

The package is dependent on experience and the successful candidate will be rewarded favourably with a salary of at least €75000 is to be expected, plus package to include, vehicle, laptop, phone & expenses.
