We're excited to introduce an opportunity that could be a great fit for your expertise. As part of the team, you will report directly to the Projects & Engineering Manager, spearheading the coordination and execution of projects.

Your primary goal? To ensure projects are not only completed successfully, but also in accordance with safety protocols, agreed-upon timelines, and budget constraints.

You will be leading a dynamic team comprising project, process, and mechanical engineers. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure their expectations are met and managed effectively. Overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from design and procurement to construction and testing. Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure everyone is aligned with project objectives. Being a stickler for quality control, ensuring all aspects meet the highest standards & serving as a liaison with suppliers and subcontractors to maintain a smooth operational workflow.

Project Manager Skills:


  • 5 years of relevant experience in a comparable role within a related industry
  • Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field
  • Experience in mechanical and process engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including a track record of interacting with clients and vendors.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Keen attention to detail and adaptable approach
  • Effective team player
  • Proven capability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated self-initiative and active participation within a cross-functional project team.

As a Project Manager:


  • Lead a team comprising project, process, and mechanical engineers.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to effectively meet and oversee customer expectations.
  • Hold accountability for managing design, procurement, construction, and testing phases throughout the project.
  • Engage closely with internal teams, steering them towards achieving their specific project goals.
  • Ensure timely project delivery within budget, adhering to specifications, and upholding the highest standards of quality.
  • Forge strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to fulfil customer demands satisfactorily.
  • Maintain a keen awareness of the project's commercial impact when making decisions.
  • Monitor and provide updates on project advancement, proactively identifying and addressing risks that could impact the project schedule or commercial aims.
  • Evaluate and dissect client specifications vis-à-vis the company's quotation, supply scope, and commercial components.
  • Review and oversee P&ID's, actively managing any changes that arise.
  • Create and review project engineering outputs, including technical specifications, procurement submissions, and handover records.
  • Approve Purchase Requisition Forms for Project Equipment and Components.
  • Conduct thorough design evaluations in collaboration with client, production, and mechanical engineering departments.
  • Establish and manage the Project Database, maintaining control over Project Documentation.
  • Conduct on-site inspections as the mechanical assembly progresses.
  • Facilitate seamless project communication and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Assist in the inspection of Project Equipment and Components upon arrival.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Provide support during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Commissioning phases for projects.
