Senior Quantity Surveyor Criteria:
7+ yrs Post-Graduate experience with a Main Contractor or developer.
Qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar area
Experience on large construction projects with a Main Contractor
An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
To have strong analytical skills and ability to present findings
Housing experience preferable but not essential
As Senior Quantity Surveyor
Reporting to the Commercial Manager
Advise on contractual matters – general and project level
Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
Look for opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce cost
Undertaking monthly internal valuations and production of monthly cost reports
Reporting on budgets and variations
Negotiate and agree subcontractors
What you’ll get in return
The base salary for the position is negotiable but expected to be €80,000 – €90,000 + package. An opportunity to work for one of the longest-running home developers in Ireland and a company that is at the forefront of high quality home building.
