Training & Development, working alongside a Senior Engineer, being shown how to run your own aspect of a heavy civils project, are all key aspects of how this main civil contractor, develop their staff into the best in the industry.

Due to a number of new housing projects in South Dublin, they have a requirement for a Setting out Engineer / Site Engineer to join their Ground Works / Civil division.

A great opportunity for an aspiring engineer, who wants to learn from the best working on €multi-million civil packages, with a clear path of how their career will develop through the ranks.

Package will include, Vehicle, Fuel and Accommodation in Dublin, Monday to Friday if needed.

Site Engineer Skills / Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management, 3-4 years site experience with hands on Setting Out capabilities.

As Site Engineer duties will include:

• General Construction setting out, Pipe Work, Drainage, experience
• Experience use of Total Station, Dumpy level and Laser Levels, GPS base & rover kits, etc
• Keep Good Daily Site Allocations records.
• Aid with site management including Subcontractors, Plant, etc
• Comply with QHSE practices and documentation on site.
• Assist with costs records and plant allocation.
• General site management

The Package:

This is a full-time, permanent position, with an expected salary of €50,000 – €55,000, with accommodation provided as needed and a vehicle.
