Lead Network Engineer Skills:
 

  • Full, clean ‘B’ Driving license essential

  • Level 8 Degree in Civil Engineering

  • 7 – 10 years’ civil engineering experience including roads infrastructure design and construction projects

  • Operations and maintenance experience – an advantage

  • Traffic Management Design Experience an advantage

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and AutoCad

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, interpersonal skills and a strong attention to detail are paramount.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to work in a team using a collaborative leadership style,

  • Must be able to draw from successful experience an ability to multitask and make results focused planning recommendations or decisions based on client care and resources data.

As Lead Network Engineer:

  • Direct Report to Head of Renewals Dept
  • Direct Line Management of Network Engineers;
  • Ensure compliance with all duties and responsibilities under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005, The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Construction Regulations 2013, the Protection of the Environment Act 2003 and all other Regulations, Codes of Practice, Etc.
  • Identification of non-cyclical works and up-to date costing of same for payment application submissions;
  • Procurement and supplier contracts in liaison with Line Manager;
  • Facilitate liaison with Stakeholders including Shareholders, major subcontractors and suppliers;
  • Preparation of departments section for monthly reporting obligations
  • Conduct site inspections, data analysis and collation for progress reporting and inter-projects management

The Package:

An excellent package will be put in place for the successful candidate, with a basic salary of €60,000 + car + package, depending on experience
