Are you a mechanical engineer from the Longford region who has HVAC experience, AutoCAD, Revit & BIM software experience along with 3 years’ experience within a similar role, then this role could be your chance to take charge of an engaging mechanical engineering project.

You will collaborate closely with the broader Project Management and Engineering teams. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in steering key projects towards successful completion. Project Engineer Skills:

 
  • Possess a pertinent third-level qualification at level 8 or higher.
  • Demonstrate a strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software systems.
  • Accumulate a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a comparable role.
  • Express an interest in pursuing a career within the construction industry.
  • Display proficiency in Microsoft Office, including the capability to generate detailed monthly reports.
  • Exhibit conscientiousness, exceptional attention to detail, and the capacity to multitask effectively.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, coupled with a passion for learning and achieving success, demonstrating an energetic approach and accountability.
  • Demonstrate the ability to contribute effectively as part of a team.
  • Express a willingness and capability to travel within Ireland (essential).

As a Project Engineer:

 
  • Creating project schedules collaboratively with the project team.
  • Supervising and tracking the progress of project work.
  • Compiling weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Submitting project engineering documents and engaging in value engineering.
  • Overseeing project procurement and materials management.
  • Reviewing project builds and collaborating with co-contractors.
  • Utilising AutoCAD 3D software for 3D design.
  • Developing systems and components that fulfil specified needs and requirements.
  • Conducting systematic experiments, analysing data, and interpreting results.
  • Testing and assessing theoretical designs.
  • Generating preliminary design concepts.
  • Conducting experiments systematically, analysing data, and interpreting results.
  • Assessing the overall performance, reliability, and safety of the final product.
  • Adapting and refining designs to meet requirements and address malfunctions.
  • Ensuring client satisfaction.

The Package:

The package is dependent on experience and the successful candidate will be rewarded favourably with a salary of at least €60000 is to be expected.
