Are you a Project Planner aiming to advance your career to the next level? Your new company are currently in search of a Project Planner based in Cork to assume responsibility for engaging mechanical engineering projects across Ireland.

As the Project Planner, you will be entrusted with a pivotal role in one of our major projects. Your direct supervisor will be the Project Manager, and together, you will contribute to the success of the project.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of the mechanical engineering project. Your work will involve collaborating closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project's smooth progress and successful completion.
 

Project Planner Skills:

 

  • A suitable and pertinent third-level certification.
  • A minimum of three years of professional experience in project planning, preferably within industrial construction or mechanical engineering domains.
  • Prior engagement in on-site projects.
  • Robust background in commercial management with a keen awareness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project Management and Primavera P6 portfolio management software.
  • Outstanding presentation and IT capabilities.
  • A positive mindset coupled with a drive for success, energetic approach, and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Capacity to contribute effectively as a team member.

As a Project Planner:

  • Creating project timelines.

  • Coordinating with project stakeholders to determine resource availability.
  • Compiling weekly and monthly progress updates.
  • Delivering reports internally and to the client as needed.
  • Recognising noteworthy aspects or potential issues and devising strategies for resolution.
  • Tracking project advancement.
  • Collaborating closely with all project stakeholders.
  • Formulating work plans and achieving set milestones in collaboration with the team.

The Package:

The package is dependent on experience and the successful candidate will be rewarded favourably with a salary of at least €40000 is to be expected.
