Quality Lead Skills:

 
  • Establish, enhance, and sustain a robust quality management system overseeing all stages of mechanical projects, from design to installation and maintenance. Set and enforce standards for inspections and tests across procedures, managing testing methods and upholding high-quality benchmarks.
  • Ensure continuous adherence to industry and quality standards, codes, regulations, and customer specifications, with a specific emphasis on maintaining ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards certification.
  • Monitor the quality management system, document project activities, and analyse processes to guarantee compliance with quality requirements. Identify opportunities for process enhancement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, improving efficiency and quality.
  • Establish, refine, and manage accurate records of quality control activities and inspections throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain documentation such as certificates, calibration test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, site instructions and observations, as well as records of permanent materials, test plans, and other QA/QC documents as needed.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality materials and components, ensuring compliance and supporting the company’s quality management obligations.
  • Assist project teams in ensuring knowledge of all quality standards, compliance with quality manuals and procedures, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to uphold system quality. Develop and deliver training programs to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the company.
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits to assess and enhance the quality management system. Supervise the implementation of test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to procedures, and coordinate with teams to conduct quality audits of site activities.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop, modify, or enhance effective quality control processes supporting project delivery. Closely monitor customer feedback to promptly address any quality-related concerns and ensure overall customer satisfaction.

As a Quality Lead:

 
  • A relevant undergraduate degree.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of experience in a role involving quality management or projects in the mechanical engineering industry, preferably in a site-based engineering capacity.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical and/or HVAC systems and components.
  • Proficient in quality management standards and tools.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with pertinent software and tools.

The Package:

The package is dependent on experience and the successful candidate will be rewarded favourably with a salary of at least €65000 is to be expected, plus pension, bonus, mileage expenses, CPD & wellbeing programmes.
