One of Ireland’s leading family run civil engineering contractors, establishing themselves as a contractor of choice for multiple high scale Road, infrastructure and civils projects across Ireland. They are looking for an experienced quantity surveyor to join their team in Galway on a €Multi-Million Road project.
The successful candidate will be predominantly based on-site in Galway, working as part of a dynamic team to bring this project to completion with more projects planned in the area.
Quantity Surveyor Skills:
The Quantity Surveyor role would suit a delivery orientated individual with 4+ years post graduate experience with a Civils Contractor. Experience in Road Civils and drainage works is essential.
Quantity Surveyor Criteria:

You have a 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

You have 4+ years post-Graduate experience with a Civils Contractor.

You have experience of Road/Heavy Civil projects
-
An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.

Managing subcontract packages and overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants along with normal QS duties

Reporting on budgets and variations

You have strong analytical skills and the ability to present findings

Undertaking monthly internal valuations and production of monthly cost reports

Maintaining subcontractor and supplier contractual details

The package
An excellent package will be put in place for the successful candidate, with a basic salary of €55,000 – €65,000 (negotiable) depending on experience + Vehicle, Pension, Healthcare.
