4D Planning Manager – Digital Delivery
Kildare (office-based with periodic travel)
Salary: €90,000 (DOE) Full Package Hybrid Working
Our client is a leading international technical engineering and construction partner, delivering fast-track, design-and-build projects across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. They specialise in highly serviced, technically demanding facilities including data centres, advanced manufacturing, logistics, food production and pharmaceutical environments.
Their model is built around turnkey delivery for end-user clients, combining deep sector expertise with digital construction, lean planning and a “get it done” culture. With a strong order book and expanding international footprint, they offer long-term stability and the chance to work on some of the most modern industrial builds in the country.
The Role – 4D Planning Manager This is a senior pre-construction and digital planning role where you’ll lead 4D model development and integration to support tender methodologies and live project sequencing. You’ll sit at the heart of the planning/BIM interface, helping teams visualise programme risk, optimise build strategy and improve delivery certainty.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed 4D models by linking programmes (Primavera P6 or similar) with 3D models (Revit/Navisworks/Synchro).
- Collaborate with BIM, design and planning teams to ensure accurate construction sequencing and phasing.
- Produce 4D simulations to support tenders and clearly present methodology to clients and stakeholders.
- Create 2D-to-3D logistics and temporary works models to support site setup and build strategy.
- Extract quantity take-offs from 3D models aligned with programme tasks.
- Conduct scenario modelling to test alternatives, identify programme risks and support value engineering.
- Deliver regular 4D progress updates, reports and stakeholder presentations.
- Maintain model version control, data integrity and compliance with BIM/digital standards.
About You
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Proven experience delivering 4D planning on logistics buildings, data centres or large-scale industrial builds.
- Proficient in Synchro 4D, Navisworks, Revit/Civil 3D and Primavera P6 (or equivalent).
- Strong grasp of BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650-aligned workflows and digital construction standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex programmes and designs.
- Confident communicator who can lead workshops and influence build strategy early.
- Experience on mission-critical or large-scale industrial projects.
- Lean construction exposure.
- Knowledge of COBie / CDE platforms (BIM 360, Aconex etc.).
- Adobe visualisation tools (After Effects / Adobe Pro).
