Job title: Bid Manager – Residential Construction

The Company
This major Irish main contractor and developer has a strong presence in the residential construction market, delivering large-scale housing and apartment developments across Dublin.
With a strong pipeline of residential work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Bid Manager to join their team in West Dublin and play a key role in the preparation and coordination of construction tenders and bids.
The Role: Bid Manager
Based in West Dublin, the Bid Manager will coordinate and manage construction tenders, working closely with the commercial and construction teams throughout the bid process. You’ll bring a strong understanding of residential construction, Irish tendering and the commercial considerations involved in preparing competitive construction bids. Depending on experience, candidates currently working as a senior Bid Coordinator or Bid Manager will be considered.
Must Have Requirements
• Must have at least 6 years’ experience in bid coordination or bid management
• Strong residential construction experience is essential
• Must have Irish construction experience
• Proven experience working with construction tenders and bids
• Strong commercial awareness
Preferred Experience
• Main contractor or residential developer experience beneficial
• Experience coordinating bids with commercial and construction teams preferred
• Strong knowledge of the Irish residential construction market
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage construction tender and bid submissions
• Review tender requirements and coordinate information required for submissions
• Work closely with commercial and construction teams throughout the tender process
• Support the preparation of commercially competitive construction bids
• Coordinate tender documentation and ensure submissions meet requirements and deadlines
• Apply practical residential construction knowledge throughout the bid process
About You
You’ll have at least 6 years’ experience in bid coordination or bid management, backed by strong Irish residential construction experience.
You’ll understand construction tenders from both a practical and commercial perspective and be confident coordinating with different teams to bring submissions together accurately and on time.
Strong residential construction experience is essential. Candidates whose experience is primarily within data centre construction would not be considered directly relevant for this position.
