We are seeking a BIM/CAD Engineer to join a growing engineering and project delivery team based out of Co. Cork. This role is ideal for someone with strong CAD or BIM experience within mechanical, electrical, civil, or process engineering environments.
You’ll support design development, 3D modelling, coordination, and drawing production on major water, utilities, industrial, and infrastructure projects across Ireland.

BIM/CAD Engineer Skills:
- Strong background in AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM 360.
- Experience preparing 2D and 3D models for mechanical, electrical, civil, or process systems.
- Understanding of P&IDs, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and coordination layouts.
- Ability to work with engineers, designers, and project teams to develop accurate technical models.
- Experience in water/wastewater, utilities, pharma, industrial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and model accuracy.
- Strong communication and organisation skills.
- Relevant qualification in engineering, CAD technology, design, or similar.
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D models for mechanical, electrical, civil, and process systems.
- Assist engineering teams with coordinated layouts, P&IDs, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Produce fabrication drawings, spool details, and installation documentation.
- Support BIM coordination activities, clash detection, and model updates.
- Ensure all drawings and models are compliant with project specifications and standards.
- Maintain consistent naming conventions, revision control, and document management.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams during design and construction phases.
- Support the implementation of BIM workflows and digital design processes across projects.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate design information.
