BIM / CAD Revit Technician – Infrastructure & Engineering Projects

We are seeking a BIM / CAD Revit Technician to support the delivery of major infrastructure and engineering projects across Ireland based in Dublin. This role will see you working closely with engineering, design and construction teams to develop accurate BIM models, coordinated drawings and digital information that supports project delivery from early design through construction and handover.

You will play a key role in maintaining high-quality digital outputs, supporting coordination across disciplines and ensuring project information aligns with BIM standards and project requirements.

BIM / CAD Revit Technician Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a BIM Technician, CAD Technician or Revit Technician within construction, civils or engineering environments
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; experience with Navisworks is an advantage
• Experience producing coordinated 2D and 3D models, drawings and schedules
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural and MEP engineers
• Understanding of BIM standards, workflows and common data environments (CDE)
• Experience supporting clash detection, model reviews and coordination processes
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical information
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drawing packages simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital document management systems
• Relevant qualification in BIM, CAD, Engineering Technology or a related discipline
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across project teams
• Applicants must be based in Ireland and have full permission to work here

As a BIM / CAD Revit Technician:

• Produce and maintain accurate BIM models and CAD drawings in line with project and client requirements
• Support engineers and designers by translating technical concepts into coordinated digital models
• Assist with BIM coordination, clash detection and resolution using Revit and Navisworks
• Maintain drawing registers, model revisions and document control procedures
• Ensure all models and drawings comply with project BIM standards and protocols
• Participate in design coordination meetings and respond to technical queries from site teams
• Update models and drawings to reflect design changes, construction progress and as-built conditions
• Support the production of schedules, quantities and technical outputs from BIM models
• Work closely with project and site teams to ensure digital information supports efficient construction delivery

The Package: Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of €45,000–€60,000 plus package, depending on experience.
