BIM Coordinator Skills:
- 4+ years' experience working in a BIM coordination role with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor in Ireland or the UK.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360 (or similar CDE platforms).
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards and procedures, including ISO 19650 and PAS 1192 workflows.
- Solid understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and construction sequencing.
- Familiarity with MEP coordination, structural and architectural interfaces.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to manage workload and priorities across multiple ongoing projects.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments preferred.
As a BIM Coordinator:
- Coordinate the development and integration of federated BIM models from design through to construction phases.
- Manage clash detection and resolution workflows using tools such as Navisworks and Solibri.
- Work closely with design consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure accurate, coordinated models.
- Set up and maintain project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) in line with ISO 19650 standards.
- Oversee model data integrity, structure, and compliance with client and internal standards.
- Support the Digital Construction Lead in implementing and evolving BIM processes across multiple sites.
- Assist in the development of 4D sequencing models to support construction planning and site logistics.
- Liaise with design managers and MEP coordinators to integrate architecture, structure, and services models.
- Conduct regular coordination meetings, producing actionable reports and updates for the wider project team.
- Provide on-site BIM support and training where needed to ensure stakeholder alignment and competency.
