The Company
Our client is a specialist data centre contractor delivering major turnkey data centre projects across Europe, covering civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical works through to commissioning and handover.
They are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of complex mechanical and electrical installations on a major data centre development in Espoo, Finland.
The Role: BIM Coordinator
As BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating 2D and 3D BIM models, managing clashes between disciplines and ensuring construction drawings are delivered in line with the project BIM Execution Plan.
Working closely with package managers, site engineers and specialist MEP subcontractors, you will help resolve coordination issues and ensure mechanical and electrical installations are accurately modelled before works progress on site.
This is a fully site-based position in Espoo, operating on a choice of 17 days on, 4 days off or 5 weeks on, 1 week off rotations.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced BIM Coordinator or MEP BIM Coordinator with a strong background in Revit and multidisciplinary construction coordination.
You will be confident working with mechanical and electrical models, resolving clashes and producing accurate construction information for site teams.
Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to meet BIM delivery milestones on a major construction project.

- Must have a minimum of 4 years' BIM experience working on major construction projects.
- Strong Revit experience with an MEP bias is essential.
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Construction or a related technical discipline required.
- Proven experience coordinating 2D and 3D models and resolving clashes between mechanical, electrical and other construction disciplines.
- Strong understanding of BIM Execution Plans, construction drawings and MEP coordination requirements.
- Previous BIM coordination experience on large-scale data centre projects.
- Experience working with Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination.
- AutoCAD experience beneficial.
- Experience coordinating complex mechanical and electrical installations with package managers and site engineers.
- Previous experience working with specialist MEP subcontractors on major construction projects.
- Coordinate BIM models across a major data centre project in Espoo, Finland.
- Manage and resolve clashes between mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural disciplines.
- Deliver 2D and 3D coordination milestones in line with the project programme.
- Produce and update coordinated drawings, specifications and schedules in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan.
- Liaise with package managers, site engineers and subcontractors to coordinate complex MEP installations.
- Review model information and identify potential construction coordination issues before installation.
- Attend BIM coordination meetings and work with project teams to resolve technical queries.
- Maintain accurate BIM documentation and ensure model updates reflect approved design changes.
- Support junior BIM team members with technical coordination and model reviews.
