The Company
This specialist mechanical building services contractor delivers complex projects across Dublin, Ireland and Europe within the data centre, commercial, healthcare, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors.
The company has a strong in-house design and BIM function, using Revit to coordinate mechanical services including HVAC, ventilation, chilled water, heating, plumbing and pipework installations.
The Role: BIM Engineer – Mechanical Building Services
As BIM Engineer, you will work with the mechanical design, engineering and site teams to develop and coordinate mechanical building services models for projects across Dublin.
You will produce coordinated Revit models and drawings, support clash detection and help resolve coordination issues before they impact installation on site.

About You
You will have previous BIM or Revit experience and a good understanding of mechanical building services and how systems are installed on site.
You should be comfortable coordinating services through plantrooms, risers and congested areas while working closely with engineers and construction teams to keep information accurate and issued to programme.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have previous BIM, Revit or mechanical coordination experience
- Hands on Autodesk Revit experience is required
- Experience producing or coordinating mechanical building services models is required
- Good understanding of mechanical drawings and services is required
Preferred Experience
- Mechanical contractor or M&E contractor experience preferred
- Data centre, commercial, pharmaceutical, healthcare or industrial experience beneficial
- Federated model and clash detection experience beneficial
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical building services models using Revit
- Produce coordinated drawings for site installation teams
- Coordinate HVAC, ventilation, pipework, plumbing and plant layouts
- Review models for clashes with structural, architectural and other services
- Support federated model coordination
- Work closely with Mechanical Project Engineers and site teams
- Resolve BIM and installation coordination issues
- Maintain accurate models and drawings throughout project delivery
About You
You will have previous BIM or Revit experience and a good understanding of mechanical building services and how systems are installed on site.
You should be comfortable coordinating services through plantrooms, risers and congested areas while working closely with engineers and construction teams to keep information accurate and issued to programme.
