A long established Tier 1 main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering complex construction projects across the commercial, healthcare, residential, education, pharmaceutical and mixed use sectors throughout Ireland and the UK. The business has built its reputation on quality, innovation and technical excellence, with BIM playing a central role in project delivery across its portfolio.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced BIM Lead to support multiple high value projects across the Dublin region. This is an excellent opportunity to influence digital construction strategy while working alongside project teams, design consultants and senior management.
The Role: BIM Lead
Based in Dublin, Co Dublin, the BIM Lead will oversee the implementation and management of BIM processes across several live construction projects. You will ensure BIM standards are maintained from preconstruction through to project completion while supporting project teams with coordination, clash detection, model management and digital delivery.
You will work closely with Design Managers, Project Managers, Site Engineers, Building Services Coordinators and subcontractors to ensure BIM is fully integrated into project delivery and supports quality, programme and construction efficiency.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced BIM Lead or Senior BIM Coordinator with a strong background delivering BIM on large Irish construction projects. You are technically strong, commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders while maintaining high standards of digital project delivery.
You communicate well with site teams, consultants and senior management and enjoy improving project coordination through technology and best practice.

The Role: BIM Lead

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 5+ years' BIM experience within the Irish or UK construction industry.
- Proven experience required working for a main contractor or specialist contractor on large construction projects.
- Hands on experience required with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM execution planning.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings.
- Experience on healthcare, commercial, residential or pharmaceutical projects.
- Knowledge of Dynamo, Solibri or Revizto would be beneficial.
- Experience mentoring BIM Coordinators and project teams.
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related discipline.
- Professional BIM certification.
- Experience implementing digital construction strategies across multiple projects.
- Lead BIM implementation across multiple construction projects.
- Develop and manage BIM Execution Plans and project BIM standards.
- Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP models to identify and resolve clashes.
- Manage Common Data Environments using Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360.
- Support Design Managers and project teams throughout design and construction.
- Ensure project information complies with ISO 19650 requirements.
- Deliver BIM training and mentoring to project teams.
- Produce BIM reports and monitor project performance against agreed deliverables.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and client teams throughout project delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement in digital construction processes.
