Job title: BIM Technician – Building Services
Location: Dublin, Co Dublin
Company: Building Services Engineering Consultancy
Package: €45,000 to €55,000 DOE + package
The Company
This established building services engineering consultancy works on technically detailed projects across Ireland and internationally, covering sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, life sciences and data centres.
Based in Dublin, they are looking for a BIM Technician to join their building services design team, supporting mechanical and electrical engineers across projects from design development through to construction.
The Role: BIM Technician
As BIM Technician, you will produce and maintain detailed MEP models and drawings using Revit, working closely with Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers and BIM Coordinators.
The role will involve BIM modelling, drawing production, clash detection and coordination of building services with architectural and structural disciplines.
Must Have Requirements
You are a BIM Technician with strong Revit skills and an interest in building services engineering. You will be organised, technically minded and comfortable working alongside engineers and other design disciplines on detailed MEP projects.

Must Have Requirements
- Experience using Revit within a building services or construction environment.
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
- Experience producing coordinated MEP drawings and BIM models.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to project deadlines.
- Relevant BIM, Building Services or Engineering qualification beneficial.
- Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud experience advantageous.
- Experience on data centre, commercial, healthcare or life sciences projects beneficial.
- Produce and update mechanical and electrical BIM models using Revit.
- Prepare coordinated drawings and technical information for project delivery.
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural models.
- Support clash detection and resolution of design coordination issues.
- Maintain model accuracy and BIM standards throughout the project.
- Work closely with engineers and BIM teams to meet design and construction deadlines.
- Support as built models and project handover information where required.
