The Role – Building Services Coordinating Engineer
You will play a key role in coordinating mechanical and electrical building services across large scale construction packages. Working closely with design teams, subcontractors and site management, you will ensure all services are fully integrated, coordinated and delivered in line with programme, safety and quality requirements.
This position suits an engineer who thrives in a fast paced environment and takes ownership of coordination from design through to installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Salary: €65,000 – €85,000 DOE

The Role – Building Services Coordinating Engineer
You will play a key role in coordinating mechanical and electrical building services across large scale construction packages. Working closely with design teams, subcontractors and site management, you will ensure all services are fully integrated, coordinated and delivered in line with programme, safety and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all MEP services are fully coordinated with structural and architectural elements
- Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals for accuracy and buildability
- Manage and track coordination issues through to resolution using BIM tools
- Liaise with subcontractors, consultants and internal teams to ensure alignment
- Monitor installation progress and ensure works are delivered in line with programme
- Support quality inspections and ensure compliance with project standards
- Assist with commissioning planning and handover documentation
- Maintain clear reporting on coordination progress and key risks
- Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or strong trade background with coordination experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in MEP coordination or building services engineering
- Experience working on large scale construction projects such as data centres, industrial or commercial developments
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and installations
- Proficient in Revit, Navisworks or similar BIM coordination software
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
- Detail focused with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Driven to deliver high quality work within strict deadlines
Salary: €65,000 – €85,000 DOE
