The Role: Building Services Coordinator
This Building Services Coordinator role will see you working closely with the Project Manager, Design Team, Site Management and M&E subcontractors to ensure all mechanical and electrical services are fully coordinated from design through installation and commissioning.
Based on a major construction project in Galway, Co Galway, you will play a key role in coordinating building services activities, resolving technical issues and ensuring MEP installations are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Building Services Coordinator who enjoys working within a collaborative project environment. You understand the importance of programme delivery, technical coordination and quality installations while maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and site teams.

The Role: Building Services Coordinator
This Building Services Coordinator role will see you working closely with the Project Manager, Design Team, Site Management and M&E subcontractors to ensure all mechanical and electrical services are fully coordinated from design through installation and commissioning.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 5+ years' experience as a Building Services Coordinator or Building Services Engineer on Irish construction projects.
- Experience working with a main contractor is required.
- Proven experience coordinating Mechanical and Electrical subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of MEP services installation, commissioning and handover.
- Relevant Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services qualification.
- Commercial, healthcare, residential or education project experience.
- Experience using BIM 360, Navisworks or Procore.
- Knowledge of BCAR and Irish Building Regulations.
- Coordinate all Mechanical and Electrical services throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals.
- Manage MEP design coordination meetings.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and client representatives.
- Monitor installation quality and programme performance.
- Assist with commissioning and project handover.
- Identify and resolve design clashes before installation.
- Support site teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and health and safety requirements.
