The Role: Building Services Design Engineer
As Building Services Design Engineer, you will work on the mechanical design of building services systems for projects across Cork, Munster and wider Ireland.
You will support senior engineers with HVAC, utilities, plant layouts, technical calculations, specifications and coordinated design drawings.
Must Have Requirements
You are a Building Services Design Engineer with a solid mechanical background and a practical approach to design.
You will be comfortable working with senior engineers, coordinating drawings and producing accurate technical information for construction teams.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience in building services design
- Mechanical services design experience required
- Experience using AutoCAD or Revit is required
- Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical building services
- M&E consultancy experience preferred
- Pharmaceutical, MedTech, food or commercial project experience beneficial
- Energy efficiency or utilities design experience beneficial
- Prepare mechanical building services designs and calculations
- Assist with HVAC, utilities and plantroom design
- Produce and review drawings, schedules and specifications
- Coordinate designs with electrical and architectural teams
- Support site queries, technical submissions and design revisions
- Attend design meetings where required
- Ensure designs meet Irish standards, client requirements and project programme
