  Building Services Engineer Skills:  
  • Possess advanced education in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services.
  • Bring a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in a similar project management capacity.
  • Exhibit a keen interest in energy management and stay informed about emerging trends in residential building services, design, and construction.
  • A background in a relevant trade is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork, organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently when necessary.
  • Possess excellent relationship-building, communication, and collaboration abilities.
  • Maintain a sharp focus on meeting deadlines and delivering on program commitments.
  • Be willing to travel between project sites across greater Dublin and hold a valid driver's license.
  • Show a knack for problem-solving and a keen attention to detail.
  • Capably achieve challenging time and quality targets, both independently and as part of a team.

As a Building Services Engineer:  
  • Ensure the consistent quality of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems in residential projects, overseeing all phases from initial coordination to final commissioning and handover.
  • Assist site construction management teams in coordinating M&E systems and provide on-site troubleshooting support when issues arise.
  • Collaborate with project design teams to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems with architectural and structural elements.
  • Supervise on-site M&E subcontractors to ensure they meet program and quality standards.
  • Act as a liaison with Public Utility providers, local authorities, and design teams to ensure timely delivery of essential services (electricity, public lighting, gas, water, telecommunications) to new developments.
  • Proactively identify the need for modifications to existing site services and facilitate mains service diversions in collaboration with Utility Providers.
  • Contribute to the company's innovation and value engineering processes by evaluating and implementing top-tier mechanical and electrical systems and products.
  • Manage temporary electric and water systems as needed.
