The Role – Project Manager

As Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on multiple water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Dublin and surrounding counties. You’ll oversee delivery from design through to completion, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with cost and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the successful delivery of multiple projects in urban and rural environments.

  • Manage water and sewer connection works across the Greater Dublin Area.

  • Review and manage project costs, budgets, and completion forecasts.

  • Liaise with clients, design teams, and third-party stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery.

  • Review and provide input on design drawings, briefs, and environmental documentation.

  • Lead a skilled project team with clear communication, motivation, and accountability.

  • Prepare regular project status reports, identifying progress and required actions.

  • Support value engineering and technical innovation for improved design and construction efficiency.

  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal resources to maintain programme and budget.

  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and performance across all sites.


About You
  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years’ experience in project management within water, wastewater, or utilities.

  • Familiarity with Irish Water or UK water standards (potable and foul).

  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills with a hands-on approach.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project interfaces.

  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to view projects through a financial lens.

  • Full, clean driving licence essential.

  • Confident communicator with excellent report writing and presentation skills.
