A leading mechanical and maintenance contractor, based in Dublin, is looking to bring a skilled Commercial Boiler Maintenance Technician on board. This is a field-based role covering commercial, healthcare, and industrial sites in Dublin and surrounding areas.
The role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance of gas boilers, HVAC systems, and general mechanical plant. You’ll be working as part of a well-established maintenance team, supporting critical infrastructure and helping to ensure heating systems operate safely and efficiently year-round.
You are experienced, self-sufficient, and confident working on live sites. Whether it’s routine servicing, fault finding, or urgent callouts, you’ll be expected to deliver reliable, high-quality work while keeping safety, performance, and customer service front and centre.

Commercial Boiler Maintenance Technician Skills:
- A relevant trade qualification or third-level qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in commercial boiler maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong fault-finding experience with gas-fired boiler systems is essential.
- Experience with gas-fired AHUs is a definite advantage.
- Sound knowledge of HVAC plant, controls, and plumbing systems.
- Comfortable working solo or as part of a team under time pressure.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Safe Pass required.
- OFTEC certification is a plus but not essential.
- Garda vetting may be required depending on client site access.
As a Commercial Boiler Maintenance Technician:
- Carry out preventative maintenance across commercial, healthcare, and hospital sites.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on commercial boiler and heating systems.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety standards and site protocols.
- Respond promptly to both technical and non-technical queries from clients and internal teams.
- Maintain a high standard of service and represent the team professionally on-site.
- Support continuous improvement efforts across service delivery.
- Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota as required.
- Work within agreed timeframes and service-level agreements.
