CX Lead Skills:
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in commissioning, with 3+ years as a CX Lead on data centre or large-scale technical projects.
- Deep understanding of MEP systems, BMS, Fire Alarm, and critical systems operations.
- Proven experience in managing integrated system testing and overseeing Level 1-5 commissioning activities.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills; capable of leading teams and liaising at all levels.
- Proficient in commissioning management tools/software and reporting structures.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE/NIBS/BCxA commissioning guidelines and Uptime Institute/Tier Certification standards preferred.
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
As a CX Lead:
- Develop, manage, and execute the commissioning plan and schedule for all MEP and specialist systems.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders including design teams, MEP contractors, vendors, and client commissioning agents.
- Lead commissioning meetings and workshops; track progress and ensure alignment with programme timelines.
- Oversee pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, project specifications, and commissioning protocols.
- Maintain accurate and detailed commissioning documentation, reports, and test packs.
- Lead issue resolution for any system failures or delays during commissioning.
- Support the handover process ensuring seamless transition to operations.
- Provide input on design for commissioning strategy during early project phases if engaged early.
