Job title: Contracts Manager – Engineering Projects
Location: Co Westmeath

This specialist engineering contractor delivers complex building services and engineering packages across major construction projects in Ireland and overseas.
Based in Co Westmeath, the company has a strong project pipeline across a range of technically demanding sectors, with continued growth creating a requirement for an experienced Contracts Manager to strengthen the project delivery team.
The Role: Contracts Manager
As Contracts Manager, you will be based out of the company’s Co Westmeath operation, overseeing multiple specialist engineering projects from planning and mobilisation through installation, commissioning and handover.
You will work closely with Project Engineers, site teams, clients, subcontractors and the commercial team to ensure contracts are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme.
This is a senior delivery role requiring strong project management, client communication and commercial awareness, with responsibility for maintaining progress across several live contracts.
Must Have Requirements
You will have a strong background in engineering or construction project delivery with experience taking responsibility for contracts, programmes and project teams.
You should be commercially aware, organised and comfortable managing several priorities at once. Strong communication skills are important as you will be dealing directly with clients while coordinating engineers and site teams to keep projects moving.
A background in mechanical engineering, building services or specialist contracting would suit the position particularly well.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have proven experience managing engineering, mechanical or construction contracts
- Strong project and programme management experience is required
- Proven experience coordinating site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Must have strong commercial awareness and client management skills
- Experience within specialist building services or engineered systems preferred
- Mechanical engineering or building services background beneficial
- Experience managing multiple projects or contracts simultaneously
- Experience working across both site and office-based project delivery
- Manage specialist engineering contracts from mobilisation through to completion
- Coordinate Project Engineers, site teams and subcontractors across live projects
- Monitor programme, resources, procurement and overall project performance
- Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
- Work closely with the commercial team on variations, costs and contract performance
- Ensure works are delivered safely and to the required technical and quality standards
- Identify project risks early and drive practical solutions to maintain programme
- Provide regular project and contract reporting to senior management
