This well-established Irish main contractor has built an excellent reputation for delivering complex healthcare, commercial, Data Centre and public sector projects across Ireland. With a strong presence throughout Leinster and the South East, the company is recognised for high standards of project delivery, quality management and long-term client relationships.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of developments, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a €multi-million healthcare project in Wexford. This role offers a clear pathway towards Project Director level for the right individual.
The Role: Contracts Manager
Based in Wexford Town, Co Wexford, the Contracts Manager will take responsibility for the successful delivery of healthcare construction projects from pre-construction through to handover.
You will lead project teams across multiple sites, working closely with Construction Managers, Site Managers, Project Managers, commercial teams, design consultants and client representatives. The role requires strong programme management, contract administration, subcontractor coordination and commercial awareness to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
This position will suit an experienced Contracts Manager with a proven track record managing healthcare or large-scale building projects for a main contractor in Ireland.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 10 years' Management experience within the Irish construction industry
- Proven experience required as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager with a Main Contractor.
- Must have experience delivering healthcare, public sector or large-scale building projects
- Strong commercial and contractual management experience required
- Full driving licence and ability to oversee projects across the South East region
Preferred Experience
- Healthcare construction project experience preferred
- Experience managing multiple project teams simultaneously
- Strong knowledge of public works contracts and programme management
- Experience using modern construction management and reporting systems
Nice to Have
- Degree qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Chartered status or professional memberships beneficial
- Additional leadership or project management qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of a major healthcare construction project from inception to completion
- Lead Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers and project delivery teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget, quality and safety requirements
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, coordination, and performance management
- Monitor project financial performance alongside commercial teams
- Chair progress meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact programme delivery
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and company procedures
- Drive quality standards across all stages of construction delivery
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on project performance
