The Role – Design Manager
As Design Manager, you’ll oversee all design coordination activities on high-profile Dublin projects, ensuring smooth collaboration between architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
You’ll work closely with project teams from pre-construction through to completion, managing technical submittals, procurement schedules, and design deliverables to ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards.

The Role – Design Manager
As Design Manager, you’ll oversee all design coordination activities on high-profile Dublin projects, ensuring smooth collaboration between architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
You’ll work closely with project teams from pre-construction through to completion, managing technical submittals, procurement schedules, and design deliverables to ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage design information across architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams.
- Prepare and maintain project information schedules in line with contract programmes.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, and utility providers to ensure design consistency and timely delivery.
- Manage the technical submittal process and maintain accurate tracking documentation.
- Lead design-related meetings, resolving technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Support procurement through coordination of approved submittals and cost approvals.
- Ensure design compliance with building regulations, client requirements, and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Project Manager and Site Team to ensure design intent is achieved throughout construction.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders.
About You
- Degree-qualified in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years’ experience in design management within a main contractor or large multidisciplinary consultancy.
- Proven experience delivering commercial, residential, industrial, or data centre projects.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and design coordination processes.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive problem solver with a focus on collaboration and delivery excellence.
