The Company
Our client is a specialist data centre contractor delivering major turnkey data centre projects across Ireland and mainland Europe, covering civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical works through to commissioning and handover.
With a substantial pipeline of European data centre projects, they are seeking a Digital Transformation Manager to work with their Estimating and Pre-Construction teams from their Dublin head office.
The Role: Digital Transformation Manager
This Digital Transformation Manager position involves leading the introduction of AI, automation and digital systems across estimating, tendering and pre-construction activities.
Based in Ballymount, Dublin 22, you will work closely with the estimating, commercial, design, planning and IT teams to identify where technology can improve tender accuracy, reduce manual processes and provide better access to cost and project information.
You will take responsibility for digital improvement projects from initial assessment and business case through to implementation, staff adoption and ongoing performance monitoring.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Digital Transformation Manager, Digital Project Manager or Business Transformation Manager with a strong understanding of technology implementation and business improvement.
You will be commercially aware, comfortable working with estimating and pre-construction teams, and capable of translating technical requirements into practical solutions that improve day-to-day operations.
A background in construction or engineering would be particularly beneficial, especially where you have worked with tendering, estimating or commercial systems.

- Must have proven experience in digital transformation, technology implementation, project management or business change.
- Strong understanding of AI, automation, data analytics and digital business systems required.
- Proven ability to manage digital improvement projects from initial planning through to implementation.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, with experience assessing business processes and identifying practical improvements.
- Experience working with multiple departments and managing stakeholders throughout organisational change.
- Previous experience in construction, engineering, estimating or pre-construction.
- Understanding of construction tendering, cost estimating, bid management and commercial reporting.
- Experience using Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate or Microsoft Copilot.
- Knowledge of estimating software such as CostX or Buildsoft.
- Experience implementing AI tools for document review, cost benchmarking, reporting or tender analysis.
- Lead digital transformation and AI initiatives across estimating and pre-construction operations.
- Review existing tendering, estimating and reporting processes to identify opportunities for automation.
- Develop business cases and implementation plans for new digital solutions.
- Work closely with estimating, pre-construction, commercial, design, planning and IT teams.
- Identify practical uses for AI in tender document review, cost analysis, benchmarking and reporting.
- Coordinate the selection, testing and implementation of digital tools and systems.
- Improve consistency and standardisation across estimating and pre-construction processes.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risks and implementation milestones.
- Support staff training and adoption of new digital processes.
- Monitor the performance of implemented systems and report on improvements in efficiency, accuracy and productivity.
