The Role: EHS Manager
This EHS Manager role will be based on a major engineering project in Sweden, working closely with project leadership teams, subcontractors and client representatives to ensure safe delivery across all site activities.
You will take ownership of the site EHS management system, lead audits and inspections, drive behavioural safety standards and support operational teams in maintaining compliance across all phases of programme delivery.
The role suits an experienced EHS Manager coming from a construction, M&E, engineering or mission critical project background who is comfortable operating in a fast-moving live site environment.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 5 years’ experience in an EHS Manager or Senior EHS Advisor role within construction or engineering
- Proven experience required on mechanical, electrical, CSA or industrial construction projects
- Diploma or Degree qualification in Occupational Health & Safety required
- Experience with subcontractor management and construction regulations is essential
- Strong reporting, auditing and incident investigation experience required
- Data centre or pharmaceutical project experience preferred
- ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 auditing experience beneficial
- Experience working on large European projects advantageous
- IOSH membership or equivalent preferred
- Manage and maintain the project EHS management system on site
- Lead site audits, inspections and corrective action tracking
- Coordinate EHS activities across subcontractors and project teams
- Deliver EHS training, toolbox talks and site inductions
- Monitor KPIs, incident trends and compliance reporting
- Lead investigations and root cause analysis following incidents or near misses
- Ensure RAMS, site plans and safety documentation remain compliant and updated
- Liaise with clients, main contractors and statutory authorities where required
- Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project team
- Support continuous improvement across programme delivery and site operations
- Strong construction or engineering background within EHS management
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced project delivery environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail with high reporting standards
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders across live construction activities
- Commercially aware with a practical approach to problem solving
- Motivated, organised and capable of driving high safety standards across site teams
