The Role: EHS Manager
This EHS Manager position is based in Co Cavan, with travel to project locations across Europe typically required two to three times per month.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, the EHS Manager will take ownership of Environmental, Health and Safety management across multiple projects and operational locations. You will work closely with project teams, site management, subcontractors, and clients to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company standards.
The successful EHS Manager will play a key role in driving a positive safety culture while supporting project delivery teams throughout Ireland and Europe.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced EHS Manager who understands the realities of construction and building services projects. You can build strong relationships with site teams while maintaining high standards of compliance and accountability.
You have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to engage with project managers, subcontractors, directors, and client representatives. You are comfortable travelling to European project locations and enjoy working across a varied portfolio of projects.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have 5 years' experience in an EHS Manager, Health & Safety Manager or Senior EHS Advisor role within construction, mechanical, HVAC or building services sectors
- Proven experience required managing health and safety across multiple construction projects
- Experience with Irish health and safety legislation is required
- Strong auditing, reporting and incident investigation experience required
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Europe when required
- Building services, HVAC, mechanical or MEP project experience preferred
- Experience working across multiple European jurisdictions beneficial
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
- ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management system experience beneficial
- Chartered IOSH membership
- Environmental management qualifications
- Experience supporting data centre, pharmaceutical or industrial projects
- Internal auditor qualifications
- Lead health, safety and environmental performance across projects in Ireland and Europe
- Develop, implement and maintain EHS policies, procedures and management systems
- Conduct regular site audits, inspections and compliance reviews
- Support project teams with risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work
- Investigate incidents, near misses and non-conformances while implementing corrective actions
- Deliver EHS training, toolbox talks and awareness programm
- Monitor subcontractor compliance and site safety performance
- Prepare management reports and KPI tracking for senior leadership
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies and external auditors when required
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all project locations
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the business
