The Company
An Irish M&E contractor delivering electrical and building services projects across the commercial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial and data centre sectors.
With a strong pipeline of projects across Ireland, the company is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to strengthen its electrical operations and support the continued growth of the division.
The position can be based from either the Dublin or Wexford office, offering the opportunity to take on a senior management role with significant responsibility for project delivery and team development.
The Role: Electrical Contracts Manager
This is a permanent senior management position based in Dublin, Co Dublin or Wexford, Co Wexford, overseeing multiple electrical construction projects.
You will take overall responsibility for electrical project delivery while playing a key role in developing and expanding the electrical division.
Working closely with senior management, you will have the autonomy to build your own team of Electrical Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors, while overseeing project programmes, budgets, procurement and commercial performance.
Must Have Requirements
You are an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager or Senior Electrical Project Manager with a strong electrical contracting background and a proven ability to manage multiple projects.
You will be commercially aware, confident making decisions and capable of leading project teams while maintaining strong relationships with clients and senior management.
You will also have the ambition and leadership skills to build and develop an electrical division, taking responsibility for both project delivery and long-term growth.

- Must have proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager, Senior Electrical Project Manager or similar senior position within an electrical or M&E contractor.
- Strong track record of managing electrical construction projects from commencement through to completion.
- Hands-on experience leading electrical project teams, with the ability to recruit, develop and manage staff.
- Strong commercial knowledge of project budgets, procurement, contract management and cost control.
- Electrical Engineering qualification or strong electrical trade background with relevant senior management experience.
- Experience delivering commercial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, industrial or data centre electrical projects.
- Previous involvement in developing an electrical division or expanding a project delivery team.
- Strong client relationships and experience working with main contractors and consultants.
- Oversee the delivery of multiple electrical construction projects across Ireland.
- Lead and develop the electrical division, including recruiting Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement and commercial performance.
- Oversee electrical works from planning through to commissioning and handover.
- Manage subcontractor appointments, contract variations and project cost control.
- Work closely with senior management on business growth and project opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, main contractors and consultants.
- Ensure electrical projects meet quality, health and safety and programme requirements.
- Monitor project performance, manage risks and support project delivery teams.
