You are a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer looking to join a dynamic team working on a diverse portfolio of Municipal and Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plants, Water Treatment Plants, Pumping Stations, and Data Centre Water Treatment Projects based out of Cork.

Electrical Engineer Skills:
- Solid grounding in 3-phase industrial electrical systems including motors, starters, panels, PLCs, and instrumentation
- Proficient with electrical schematics, P&IDs, AutoCAD, and Trimble-based layout tools
- In-depth understanding of Safe Electric standards and electrical certification processes
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and technical communication skills
- Self-starter who thrives in multidisciplinary environments and takes ownership of project delivery
- A third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering (or a closely related field with relevant experience)
- Valid EU or Irish driving licence
As an Electrical Engineer:
- Design and develop electrical systems tailored for water/wastewater treatment and pumping infrastructure
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams for troubleshooting and integration
- Identify design gaps and specification conflicts through detailed electrical design reviews
- Validate cable sizing, issue technical submittals, and recommend optimised solutions
- Ensure compliance with NSAI Irish Standard I.S. 10101:2020 IEC, WIMES, and relevant safety and environmental codes
- Oversee and coordinate electrical aspects of project delivery, from suppliers to subcontractors
- Collaborate with the BIM team to ensure constructability and maintainability in installation layouts
- Support commissioning by managing specialist vendors and preparing detailed instruction/test packs
- Attend QA/QC walkdowns, review technical site queries, and resolve installation issues
- Issue procurement requisitions and verify material compliance against specifications
- Work cross-functionally with automation, mechanical, civil, and process engineers
