The Role – Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of electrical systems on a major data centre project in Amsterdam. You will be involved from design review through to installation, commissioning, and final handover.
Working closely with the project team, subcontractors, and BIM specialists, you will ensure all electrical systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role – Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of electrical systems on a major data centre project in Amsterdam. You will be involved from design review through to installation, commissioning, and final handover.
Working closely with the project team, subcontractors, and BIM specialists, you will ensure all electrical systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review electrical designs to identify gaps, clashes, and inconsistencies
- Raise RFIs to resolve technical queries and design issues
- Validate sizing of cables, containment, and electrical systems
- Manage submittals, procurement tracking, and equipment deliveries
- Carry out system walkdowns to ensure compliance with specifications
- Coordinate electrical services with other disciplines and BIM teams
- Attend subcontractor and supplier meetings to track progress
- Support subcontractors with technical guidance and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and project requirements
- Prepare method statements and risk assessments
- Manage document control and maintain accurate project records
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Electrical Engineer role within M&E or data centre projects
- Strong understanding of electrical systems within mission-critical environments
- Experience working with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project documentation systems
- Detail-driven with a strong focus on quality and safety
