The Company

This international contractor specialises in delivering large-scale turnkey data centre projects across Europe, covering civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning services.

With multiple hyperscale projects currently under construction across Europe, the company has established itself as a leading delivery partner within the mission critical sector, known for technical expertise, programme delivery, and high-quality project execution.

Due to continued expansion in Sweden, they are now seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join a major data centre project in Skellefteå.

The Role: Electrical Package Manager

The Electrical Package Manager will take responsibility for the delivery and coordination of key electrical work packages across a large-scale data centre construction project.

Working closely with Project Managers, Planners, subcontractors, consultants, and the wider site team, you will ensure electrical works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role suits an experienced Electrical Package Manager with a strong background in electrical construction, subcontractor management, QA/QC processes, and programme delivery within large-scale project environments.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or similar discipline
• Minimum 7 years’ experience within the electrical construction sector required
• Proven experience required managing electrical packages on large-scale construction projects
• Strong experience coordinating subcontractors, programme delivery, and site operations
• Excellent technical understanding of electrical systems and installation methodologies required

Preferred Experience

• Data centre, industrial, or mission critical project experience preferred
• Experience managing QA/QC processes and project handovers beneficial
• Strong scheduling and sequencing experience advantageous
• Commercial awareness and variation management experience beneficial

Nice to Have

• European project experience
• BIM or digital construction platform experience
• Exposure to commissioning and energisation activities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate electrical work packages across the project lifecycle
• Oversee day-to-day electrical site operations alongside the wider project team
• Manage QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
• Coordinate project schedules with planners, consultants, subcontractors, and management teams
• Manage electrical subcontractors including progress tracking, manpower coordination, and weekly meetings
• Ensure subcontractor documentation and safety records are maintained and up to date
• Attend site meetings, engineering reviews, planning meetings, and handover meetings
• Liaise with the design team regarding technical submittals and construction information
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure proper system coordination
• Support commercial management by tracking variations and attending commercial meetings
• Prepare and issue progress reports to senior management and project teams
• Manage electrical snagging activities and ensure timely close-out of issues
• Proactively identify and resolve technical and coordination issues on-site

About You

You are a technically strong Electrical Package Manager with experience delivering large-scale electrical packages within construction, industrial, or mission critical environments.

You have strong organisational and communication skills, understand programme delivery and subcontractor coordination, and can drive projects forward within demanding live construction environments.

You are commercially aware, proactive in resolving site issues, and focused on delivering high-quality electrical installations safely and efficiently.
