The Company
A leading Irish main contractor is seeking an Electrical Package Manager for a high-profile building project in Dublin City. This is a complex heritage and restoration scheme involving the upgrade of an existing landmark building, with a strong focus on quality, coordination, safety and programme delivery.
The company has a strong pipeline of commercial, residential, pharmaceutical, data centre and specialist refurbishment projects across Ireland, offering long-term career progression for experienced MEP and electrical construction professionals.
The Role – Electrical Package Manager
As Electrical Package Manager, you will manage the electrical services package through construction, coordination, installation, testing and commissioning. You will work closely with the project team, design consultants, MEP subcontractors and site management to ensure electrical works are delivered safely, correctly and in line with programme.
This Dublin City project has approximately 12 to 18 months remaining, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of a key package on a prestigious live construction project.

As Electrical Package Manager, you will manage the electrical services package through construction, coordination, installation, testing and commissioning. You will work closely with the project team, design consultants, MEP subcontractors and site management to ensure electrical works are delivered safely, correctly and in line with programme.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate electrical services from planning through to handover.
- Oversee electrical subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to programme.
- Coordinate design information, technical submissions and project requirements.
- Ensure MEP deliverables are tracked and implemented on site.
- Monitor installation progress and identify risks to programme or quality.
- Inspect electrical works against approved quality plans and specifications.
- Drive high standards of health and safety across all electrical works.
- Support testing, commissioning, snagging and handover documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the wider construction, design and MEP teams.
- Degree qualified in electrical engineering, building services or a related discipline.
- 6 years’ experience in electrical construction, MEP coordination or package management.
- Main contractor experience would be highly desirable.
- Experience on commercial, refurbishment, residential, pharmaceutical or data centre projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical installations, MEP coordination and construction sequencing.
- Chartered or working towards chartership would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, planning and subcontractor management skills.
- Strong IT skills with the ability to manage documentation, reports and technical information.
- Quality focused with a practical, calm and organised approach to project delivery.
