You are an experienced Electrical Project Engineer with a strong background delivering electrical elements of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, looking to join a well-established engineering contractor delivering complex MEICA works across Ireland.
This is a permanent role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of electrical delivery across multi-disciplinary projects from design through to construction and commissioning. You will play a key role coordinating design teams, managing programme and cost performance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Electrical Project Engineer Skills: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
5 years’ experience within the water and wastewater sector (contracting environment)
Strong knowledge of electrical, ICA, and MEICA systems
Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects from design through to handover
Solid understanding of contract forms (FIDIC, NEC, Public Works)
Excellent organisational, planning, and coordination skills
Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Competent in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
Chartered Engineer status is advantageous but not essential
Full clean Irish / EU driving licence
Authorised to work in Ireland (valid work permit or Stamp 4 visa)
As an Electrical Project Engineer: Coordinate and liaise with internal and external design teams in a multi-disciplinary environment
Provide technical and commercial guidance across electrical and ICA works
Develop and manage programme schedules, including resource-loaded plans
Proactively manage performance, scope, cost, and schedule risks
Prepare accurate and timely progress reports for clients and senior management
Drive health, safety, quality, and environmental standards across all project stages
Actively support PSDP and PSCS duties in line with project requirements
Ensure consistent delivery of project objectives including quality, risk management, and profitability
Support a collaborative team environment aligned with company values
Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all works are delivered in compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
Promote a strong safety culture across design and construction teams
Identify risks early and implement mitigation measures
Ensure full compliance with client and statutory requirements
