The Company

This European data centre contractor is one of the industry's leading turnkey delivery specialists, delivering complete design, construction and commissioning solutions across some of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre developments.

With multiple live projects across Europe and a substantial pipeline of future work, the company continues to expand its Quality team and is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Lead to join a flagship hyperscale data centre project in Milan, Italy.

The Role: Electrical QA/QC Lead

Reporting to the Project Quality Manager, you will lead the Electrical Quality Assurance and Quality Control function across a major data centre project from installation through to commissioning and final client handover.

Working closely with Construction Managers, Project Engineers, Commissioning teams, subcontractors and client representatives, you will ensure all electrical installations are delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality management systems and international standards.

This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for driving quality performance across the entire electrical package on one of Europe's most technically advanced mission-critical developments.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in an Electrical QA/QC Lead, Senior Electrical QA/QC Engineer or similar quality leadership role.
• Proven experience delivering electrical QA/QC on major M&E construction projects.
• Experience working on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or other mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), inspections, testing and commissioning processes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Autodesk BIM 360 Field or equivalent quality management software.
• Experience managing quality audits, inspections, NCRs and corrective actions.
• Strong knowledge of electrical testing, energisation and commissioning activities.
• Experience coordinating with client QA teams, consultants and subcontractors.
• Experience supporting commissioning, integrated systems testing and project handover.

Nice to Have

• Previous European project experience.
• Knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems.
• Experience within fast-track construction environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation standards and QA documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all Electrical QA/QC activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement project-specific Electrical Quality Plans.
• Carry out quality inspections, audits and verification of electrical installations.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with project specifications, client requirements and international standards.
• Manage Inspection Test Plans, quality records and inspection documentation.
• Review and monitor subcontractor quality systems and ensure compliance throughout construction.
• Coordinate inspections and quality walkdowns with client representatives and consultants.
• Manage NCRs, quality observations and corrective actions through to successful close-out.
• Support electrical testing, commissioning and final project handover.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams to drive continuous quality improvement.
• Prepare quality reports and communicate progress to senior management.
• Promote a proactive quality culture across all electrical construction activities.

About You

You are an experienced Electrical QA/QC professional with a proven track record delivering quality assurance on major electrical construction projects.

You have excellent technical knowledge, strong attention to detail and the leadership skills to ensure complex electrical systems are installed, tested and commissioned to the highest possible standards.

You thrive in fast-paced mission-critical environments and enjoy working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining complete focus on quality and compliance.
