The Role – Electrical QC Lead
As Electrical QC Lead, you will take ownership of the quality control function on a major data centre project. You will lead the planning and execution of quality processes, ensuring systems are delivered in line with strict compliance, safety and commissioning requirements.
This is a senior position with responsibility for managing inspection teams, coordinating system walkdowns and driving quality standards from installation through to handover. Your work will directly impact project delivery, ensuring systems are completed right first time and handed over efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all Electrical Quality Control activities across the project lifecycle
- Develop and manage Project Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans
- Coordinate and lead system walkdowns in line with programme milestones
- Define system boundaries and manage test pack development and tracking
- Oversee inspection processes, snagging and close-out of defects
- Work closely with engineering, construction, commissioning and EHS teams
- Monitor quality performance, identify trends and implement improvements
- Drive First of Kind and benchmarking processes across installations
- Review construction methodologies including offsite manufacturing
- Produce weekly and monthly reports on quality metrics and progress
- Engage with client representatives and stakeholders to ensure compliance
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or similar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Quality Control or QA/QC leadership role
- Strong background in data centre or mission critical projects preferred
- Experience managing system walkdowns, test packs and project turnover
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and quality management systems
- Skilled in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-focused with strong planning and organisational capability
- Trade background or hands-on site experience is advantageous
