The Role – Electrical Site Supervisor
As an Electrical Site Supervisor, you will take responsibility for overseeing electrical installations on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will manage subcontractors, coordinate daily site activities, and ensure that all electrical works are progressing in line with programme and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Support project setup including site establishment, planning, and programme development
• Review construction drawings and ensure works are delivered in line with specifications
• Supervise electrical subcontractors and manage daily site activities
• Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to maintain productivity on site
• Develop short term look ahead programmes and track progress against the master programme
• Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries and labour tracking
• Attend and lead subcontractor coordination meetings
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
• Ensure all variations are captured and communicated to the Project Manager and QS
• Promote and enforce health and safety standards across all site activities
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and daily walk downs
• Ensure all works are completed to quality standards with a strong focus on zero snags
• Support commissioning, testing, and project handover processes
• Assist with project close out including documentation, demobilisation, and final inspections
About You
• Trade background or qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on construction projects
• Experience working on data centre, pharmaceutical, or large scale industrial projects is desirable
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, site practices, and construction processes
• Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple work fronts
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site procedures
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Proactive and solutions driven approach to problem solving
• Ability to work in a fast paced site environment and meet project deadlines
