Engineering Manager Skills:
- Experience leading engineering teams in power, renewables, or heavy infrastructure.
- Strong leadership presence and the ability to earn respect at all levels—from graduates to directors.
- The ability to cut through complexity, communicate clearly, and make confident decisions under pressure.
- A track record of building high-performing teams, not just filling seats.
- Commercial awareness to understand how engineering decisions impact delivery, cost, and client trust.
As an Engineering Manager:
- Lead and grow a team of electrical engineers supporting UK operations.

- Balance resources, risks, and deadlines while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.
- Act as the link between engineering, commercial, operations, and clients.
