We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the ongoing maintenance, optimisation and technical performance of water treatment systems across the Munster region.
This role involves working on advanced treatment technologies, delivering planned preventative maintenance, carrying out corrective repairs, supporting customers with technical queries and ensuring system reliability across a range of industrial, pharmaceutical, power, and data-centre environments.
You will work both independently and alongside a small technical team, providing on-site support, troubleshooting equipment and ensuring all work meets quality, safety and compliance requirements.
The position also involves building strong customer relationships and providing clear documentation and service reports to support invoicing, follow-up works and overall client satisfaction.

Field Service Engineer Skills:
- Experience working with water treatment technologies such as membranes, ion exchange, filtration, CDI, UV or chemical dosing systems
- Strong mechanical, electrical or plumbing background with the ability to diagnose and repair faults
- Comfortable troubleshooting pumps, instrumentation and control panels
- Strong communication skills and ability to support customers with technical queries
- High attention to detail with a proactive and adaptable mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of producing clear technical documentation
- Ability to work independently or as part of a small mobile service team
- Full EU/Irish driving licence and permit to work in the EU
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on water treatment systems across the Munster region
- Diagnose equipment issues, identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions
- Troubleshoot pumps, instruments, sensors and control equipment
- Provide technical support and advice to clients on system performance, optimisation and maintenance
- Prepare service reports, technical findings and documentation required for administration and invoicing
- Ensure all work follows internal quality procedures and complies with customer standards
- Manage customer expectations through clear communication and professional service delivery
- Collaborate with service and administration teams to coordinate follow-up works and parts requirements
- Work independently on customer sites and participate in occasional evening/night work as required
