This opportunity is with a well-established Irish main contractor delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, and specialist building projects across Leinster.
The business has built a strong reputation for precision finishing, programme certainty, and quality delivery, with projects typically ranging from €10m to €80m . Known for a hands-on management style and strong site teams, they deliver complex commercial schemes to exacting client standards.
Due to the progression of a major multi-million-euro commercial development in Bray, they are now seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to take ownership of the final stages of delivery.
The Role – Finishing Foreman
As Finishing Foreman, you will take responsibility for managing all finishing trades from second fix through to final handover, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and presentation.
You will work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and subcontractors to drive quality, manage programme, and deliver a snag-free project.

The Role – Finishing Foreman
As Finishing Foreman, you will take responsibility for managing all finishing trades from second fix through to final handover, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and presentation.
You will work closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and subcontractors to drive quality, manage programme, and deliver a snag-free project.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all finishing works across a large commercial development.
- Coordinate and manage finishing subcontractors and direct labour.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality, and compliance.
- Drive snagging, close-out, and final handover activities.
- Monitor programme and report progress against key milestones.
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are implemented and maintained.
- Liaise with design, quality, and client teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
- Lead by example, promoting a professional and solutions-focused site culture.
About You
- Trade background preferred (carpentry, finishing, or similar).
- Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or Finishing Manager on commercial or high-end building projects.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes.
- Ability to manage multiple trades and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Proactive, organised, and capable of working independently.
