We are seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer with a strong mechanical engineering foundation to join a growing team delivering high-value construction and engineering projects based out of Co. Kildare. This is an excellent development opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design, project support, and construction engineering.
The role offers exposure to major projects for high-profile clients, working closely with senior engineers, project managers, and pre-construction teams to develop practical skills and technical competence in mechanical systems and engineering delivery.

Graduate Mechanical Engineer Skills:
- Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pipework, pumps, HVAC, and utilities.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and P&IDs.
- Proficiency with engineering software and willingness to learn new tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to develop practical experience in mechanical engineering within a project environment.
- Support senior engineers with mechanical design, calculations, and project delivery tasks.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements under guidance.
- Assist with documentation, method statements, and compliance records.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth mechanical system design and installation planning.
- Learn to identify potential design risks and participate in value engineering initiatives.
