Health and Safety Advisor – Construction / Pharma & Commercial Projects
Location: East Cork, Co Cork
Company: Growing Cork based Main Contractor
Package: €60,000 to €70,000 package
The Company
Established construction Main Contractor delivering commercial, fit out, civil, healthcare and pharma projects across Cork and the wider Munster region. Known for strong project delivery, high safety standards and a steady pipeline of work throughout the Cork market.
The Role: Health and Safety Advisor
This is a full-time Health and Safety Advisor role supporting multiple construction projects across Cork. The position would suit someone from junior level up to 3 to 5 years’ experience within the Irish construction sector.
You will work closely with site management teams to maintain high Health & Safety standards across live construction environments. Experience on pharmaceutical or regulated projects would be a strong advantage.

Must Have Requirements
- Must have construction Health & Safety experience in Ireland
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification required
- Experience with a main contractor or subcontractor environment required
- Full driving licence required
Preferred Experience
- Pharma or life science project experience preferred
- Strong understanding of Irish construction safety regulations
- Good communication and reporting skills
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out site inspections and safety audits
- Support site teams with RAMS and safety documentation
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Monitor subcontractor compliance on site
- Assist with incident investigations and reporting
- Promote strong Health & Safety standards across projects

- Organised and proactive approach to site safety
- Comfortable working across multiple Cork projects
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to build good relationships with site teams and subcontractors
